Having found a pen identical to Matilda’s at the construction site, Yuta and the others go to the police and insist they open a murder investigation.
Yuta and his friends relay Akari’s important testimony to Officer Tsurumi. At the café with Hakuba, they recall what led them to make their own movie.
Yuta and the others have learned that Matilda was being stalked. Kisuke, who takes care of his mother, is encouraged to draw comics again.
As Yuta prepares his defense against bribery charges, he, Hajime, and Kisuke learn new information about the criminal past of Video Jupiter’s manager.

Matilda descends from a UFO and restores Yuta and his friends’ memories. Later, Yuta tells his brother about the doubt that had been nagging at him.
