Ibrahim, the head of the Weavers, is killed. Khawla suggests to her husband, Saeed, that they forge Ibrahim's will so that he can assume leadership of the guild, while Salah Pasha is also seeking the same position.
Sheikh Rabah arrives and asks the people of the district to bury Ibrahim Pasha without discussing his will for the time being. Meanwhile, Salah Pasha burns down Hasna's factory at Khawla's instigation. Later, when Hasna asks him for help completing her order through his factory, Salah proposes marriage to her.
Hasna agrees to marry Salah Pasha, but only on paper. Meanwhile, the new Weaver named in Ibrahim's will arrives accompanied by his men, including Ghawas. However, they are ambushed and robbed by bandits on the road, resulting in Faisal's death.
It turns out that Salah sent his men to kill Faisal. Ghawas meets his friend Ayoub and learns from him that Khawla got married and had children. He meets her and asks her to give him his share of the gold that they stole together and for which he was imprisoned for several years, but she tells him that it was stolen from her.
Ghawas impersonates Faisal and takes on the role of the new Nouilati. He meets Salah and Hasna to look into the case of the stolen clothes that the latter worked on. He also meets Khawla and her husband Saeed.
Ayoub tells Ghawas that everyone wants to kill him, especially after Ghawas receives a threatening message. Salah sets new conditions for Hasna to complete her work in his factory, while Khawla's daughter complains about having a guard with her on all her movements.
Salah learns that Ghawas (disguised as Faisal) is renting a room from Ayoub. Ghawas meets Rabah and asks for his help in confronting Salah's transgressions. He also meets Khawla, who offers him gold in exchange for leaving Nouilatia, but he refuses.
Ghawas quarrels with Salah after the latter challenges Ibrahim's will, and demands that Abu Issa take over the leadership of the Nuwailatiyya.
Maram offers herself to Salah so that he will get her father back to work, but he fires her. Hasnaa then turns to Faisal (Ghawas) to help her get rid of Salah.
Salah is imprisoned after his involvement in burning Hasna’s farm is proven, and the (Hyena) kidnaps Khawla until she returns what she stole from Salah’s warehouse. She is released after Ayoub hands over the goods to the (Hyena), and it becomes clear that Salah’s men are holding Maram.
Salah is released from prison, while Abu Issa asks Ghawas to take his place due to his illness. Awad, Ghawas’s friend in prison, appears in the Al-Nuwailatiyah area, and the latter offers him clothes and money and asks him to leave.
Khawla's son falls ill with an unknown disease and remains in the hospital. Ghassan, Salah’s right-hand man, gets rid of Maram while Ghawas searches for her. Awad returns to the area and threatens Ghawas with exposing him.
Khawla gives a sleeping pill to a Ghawas and then ties him up until she hands him over to the (Hyena), but Ayoub manages to save him, and Ghawqs rescues Maram and returns her to her family's home.
